Today's work was all about the stage. The new stage floor will be specially layered to stifle noise and protect from water damage. The stage will be layered like so: first, a plastic layer of "visquene", followed by the layer you see here of fiberglass and "sleepers" (the pieces of wood), which will reduce noise. Then, a layer of plywood, followed by tar paper to prevent water damage. Then another layer of plywood, and then the stage's surface: masonite, which will be painted black once placed. There is a picture of the masonite in the gallery below.
In addition, since the concrete has been poured and dried, the walls to the new sound/lighting station have been erected.

And, there's this project: the shingles on the back wall have been removed, as seen here. They will be replaced by acoustic shingles.
